Features
- Installed applications gets integrated with the Graphical Environment
- Applications can be installed localy under $HOME/.local/ and be integrated in the application menu(integration from local install does not work on Sun/Oracle Solaris, but works on OpenSolaris)
- Bundles all libraries used by the application into the install package, but only installs the missing libraries to the end user
- Option to install systemwide(install.pl system) or localy into the userprofile(install.pl local)
- Place files wherever you want them on the system by putting them in the correct locations inside the files folder (files folder works as "/")
- Works on sevral platforms! Tested on FreeBSD, Sun/Oracle Solaris, OpenSolaris, Linux (all under architectures x86, amd64, ARM, SPARC and CELL)
- Script dependencies are: perl, ldd and perl findbin module
